Although these are menthol cigarettes, they are widely recommended for beginner smokers. Newport offers a great tobacco taste with menthol that is not too strong to dominate. They are one of the top selling menthol cigarettes in the U.S., being accounted for more than one-third of all menthol cigarettes sales. The brand has some non-menthol editions, but those are not so popular.
