WWE 2K is a series of wrestling video games launched in 2000. The original WWE games were developed by Japanese video game firm Yuke and published by American gaming giant THQ. US-based Visual Concepts took over development of the game in 2019. The games were inspired by real-world wrestling and featured many of the same characters as in real life.
