3D Systems Technology: 3D Systems Corporation Brings Its Name To Capitol Hill

3D Systems Technology: As you probably know, 3D Systems Corporation (NYSE:DDD) faces an uphill battle with its 3D content-to-print solutions. This has nothing to do with the “cool” factor of its technology or whether or not it actually works.

Instead, the problem 3D Systems Corporation is facing is simple: the company is dealing with an uphill climb when it comes to getting people to realize that its technology is the next big thing.

Fortunately, this has not deterred 3D Systems Corporation (NYSE:DDD) one bit. In fact, the company continues to sponsor events while doing its part in helping the public better understand what it has to offer.

Most recently, the company was a sponsor of Public Knowledge’s 3D/DC II event on Capitol Hill.

In addition to being listed as a gold sponsor on the YouTube video page that explains the event in greater detail, it also states that 3D Systems was in attendance, along with plenty of other companies, as an exhibitor.

Despite the fact that 3D Systems Corporation (NYSE:DDD) is faced with a challenge as far as getting others to realize what the company offers, as the video explains, things are definitely moving in the right direction in terms of the overall perception of the industry.

Here is what the narrator of the video, covering the Public Knowledge’s 3D/DC II event, had to say:

“Last week, Public Knowledge hosted its second 3D/DC on Capitol Hill. More than 500 people RSVP’d, and more than 20 representatives from the 3D community came to show what their printers, scanners, and research was all about.”

While the video does not specifically discuss the positioning of 3D Systems Corporation (NYSE:DDD) in the industry, the company is listed, along with many others, as exhibiting at the event.

Events like this are just one of the many ways that 3D Systems is able to share its knowledge of the industry, while helping push the idea to the mainstream public.

The video went on to add:

“Objects ranging from faces to recreations of ancient sculptures were exhibited, showing people in attendance that the future of 3D printing is now.”

The last part of that statement says it all. While some people think that 3D printing has yet to arrive, those with knowledge of the industry realize that it is already here.

3D Systems Corporation (NYSE:DDD) is doing its part in taking the industry to new heights.
