30 Cities with the Best Education System in the World

In this piece, we will take a look at the 30 cities with the best education system in the world. For more cities, head on over to 5 Cities with the Best Education System in the World.

Like several other industries, education has undergone radical shifts in just a couple of years. The growth in technology has transformed the knowledge taught to students in schools and colleges. For instance, the near ubiquity of computing devices these days, whether it’s a computer or a smartphone, has led Silicon Valley firms to push for greater coding education in schooling systems. This push is being led by the nonprofit Code.org, which led a nationwide effort to include computer science education in U.S. school districts. Its efforts include pushing for legislation that removes computer science’s classification as a foreign language and reclassifies it as science to ensure that only teachers that are qualified as ‘foreign language instructors’ do not teach the subject in schools.

Multiple research papers and reports show that computer science education has beneficial outcomes. For instance, researchers from Stanford University investigated the impact of computer science courses in high school on problem solving. They created black box problems that hid portions of circuit systems and asked those being tested to figure out the hidden patterns. The results showed that out of the 74 undergraduate students sampled, those with a computer science background were the highest scorers. Crucially, the research also showed that junior and senior students of computer science were the only ones where the level of exposure to computer science education improved their problem solving scores as this difference was not present in students from other disciplines.

Another research report, this time from West Coast Analytics has a larger sample size and it investigates the effects of computer science on college enrollment. Partnering up with Code.org, the research took a look at data from 89 American high schools and close to sixty thousand students to run their analysis. After accounting for school differences and their effects on college enrollment, the results show that taking an advanced placement (AP) course in computer science in high school boosted the chances of college enrollment by 17%. Additionally, an AP Computer Science A score further boosted this percentage to a whopping 38%.

So, while it’s clear that the earlier you teach kids computer science, the farther they might go in life, another fact is that computer science itself is also transforming education. The outbreak of the coronavirus forced universities and schools to close down, but since classes cannot be suspended indefinitely, they shifted education online. These changes appear to have been permanent as now, some of the world’s biggest and best universities offer a wide variety of courses on different platforms. This has also led to a growth in digital education providers. Research from the consultancy firm McKinsey shows that 2020 was a record setting year for enrollment in online education courses. Behind this change are several factors such as more large universities offering the courses, a greater amount of investment from venture capital firms, a record growth in full time enrollment, and a growth in standards for online education. In terms of figures, the number of learners in Massive Online Open Courses (MOOCs) jumped by hundreds of millions, since while it had stood at a mere three hundred thousand in 2011, by the end of 2021, the number of learners had grown to sit at a whopping 220 million with the coronavirus pandemic accelerating this growth by 92%.

The global higher education market is quite lucrative as well. Research from Market Data Forecast shows that the higher education market was worth $77.4 billion in 2020 and will grow at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.3% until 2026 to sit at an estimated $115 billion by the end of the forecast period. Naturally, the research firm also adds that the market is being shaped by technology and the growth in online education as a larger number of universities are adapting different tools to cater to these trends. Additionally, as is the case with several other markets as well, Asia Pacific is the largest segment of the higher education market and will have the fastest growth rate as well.

This adoption rate of universities was also mentioned by the management of 2U, Inc. (NASDAQ:TWOU) in a recent earnings call where they cited several examples and shared:

When we started the company, universities didn’t have the capability of building online courses or launching online courses. And so that was 100% necessary to get a program online. And while we were very proud of our team that builds really high-quality content and it’s meaningful over time, more and more universities have developed capacity to do that. That’s part of the reason for the flexible model. We do think you’ll see a good number of the core bundle with clinical placement or the core bundle with marketing and clinical placement and other €“ often not the course build €“ from the standpoint of the financials that is a net positive because it does lower the CapEx. And we are focused on getting to positive EPS.

And as you know, the CapEx is part of that story. So from my standpoint, we see the flex innovation as simply opening new doors. And I’d say that’s the biggest trend. Steven, the only other thing I would say is this entire notion of sort of in-source and outsource is just way overplayed in various places. It’s not really this €“ it’s more complicated than that. Like many of our best relationships, we work directly with the folks that you would argue are the in-source. So very commonly, we’ve got great relationships with the universities, departments that are building a variety of capacity. So we had today an incredible day at headquarters where I’m at in €“ right outside of Washington, D.C. and Maryland, where we had our social enterprise of boot camp partners.

So our boot camp partners from ranging from University of Kansas to Colombia to all kinds of really great schools that are partnering with us and local workforce agencies to drive critical skills training for the country. And this kind of training can’t be done without private partnerships €“ private-public partnerships. It’s just not possible to do the scale. So we think we’re doing something really good for the world that we also think is a great business opportunity. And the reason I go there is, in many of these cases, that is working with the continuing ed component of the institution that very often also has some responsibility in this notion of in-source outsource. So I understand why folks ask about it. But overall, we feel like the interest in our revenue share-based model continues to increase.

With these details in mind, let’s take a look at the world’s best cities in education.

AI, Tariffs, Nuclear Power: One Undervalued Stock Connects ALL the Dots (Before It Explodes!)

Artificial intelligence is the greatest investment opportunity of our lifetime. The time to invest in groundbreaking AI is now, and this stock is a steal!

AI is eating the world—and the machines behind it are ravenous.

Each ChatGPT query, each model update, each robotic breakthrough consumes massive amounts of energy. In fact, AI is already pushing global power grids to the brink.

Wall Street is pouring hundreds of billions into artificial intelligence—training smarter chatbots, automating industries, and building the digital future. But there’s one urgent question few are asking:

Where will all of that energy come from?

AI is the most electricity-hungry technology ever invented. Each data center powering large language models like ChatGPT consumes as much energy as a small city. And it’s about to get worse.

Even Sam Altman, the founder of OpenAI, issued a stark warning:

“The future of AI depends on an energy breakthrough.”

Elon Musk was even more blunt:

“AI will run out of electricity by next year.”

As the world chases faster, smarter machines, a hidden crisis is emerging behind the scenes. Power grids are strained. Electricity prices are rising. Utilities are scrambling to expand capacity.

And that’s where the real opportunity lies…

One little-known company—almost entirely overlooked by most AI investors—could be the ultimate backdoor play. It’s not a chipmaker. It’s not a cloud platform. But it might be the most important AI stock in the US owns critical energy infrastructure assets positioned to feed the coming AI energy spike.

As demand from AI data centers explodes, this company is gearing up to profit from the most valuable commodity in the digital age: electricity.

The “Toll Booth” Operator of the AI Energy Boom

  • It owns critical nuclear energy infrastructure assets, positioning it at the heart of America’s next-generation power strategy.
  • It’s one of the only global companies capable of executing large-scale, complex EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) projects across oil, gas, renewable fuels, and industrial infrastructure.
  • It plays a pivotal role in U.S. LNG exportation—a sector about to explode under President Trump’s renewed “America First” energy doctrine.

Trump has made it clear: Europe and U.S. allies must buy American LNG.

And our company sits in the toll booth—collecting fees on every drop exported.

But that’s not all…

As Trump’s proposed tariffs push American manufacturers to bring their operations back home, this company will be first in line to rebuild, retrofit, and reengineer those facilities.

AI. Energy. Tariffs. Onshoring. This One Company Ties It All Together.

While the world is distracted by flashy AI tickers, a few smart investors are quietly scooping up shares of the one company powering it all from behind the scenes.

AI needs energy. Energy needs infrastructure.

And infrastructure needs a builder with experience, scale, and execution.

This company has its finger in every pie—and Wall Street is just starting to notice.

Wall Street is noticing this company also because it is quietly riding all of these tailwinds—without the sky-high valuation.

While most energy and utility firms are buried under mountains of debt and coughing up hefty interest payments just to appease bondholders…

This company is completely debt-free.

In fact, it’s sitting on a war chest of cash—equal to nearly one-third of its entire market cap.

It also owns a huge equity stake in another red-hot AI play, giving investors indirect exposure to multiple AI growth engines without paying a premium.

And here’s what the smart money has started whispering…

The Hedge Fund Secret That’s Starting to Leak Out

This stock is so off-the-radar, so absurdly undervalued, that some of the most secretive hedge fund managers in the world have begun pitching it at closed-door investment summits.

They’re sharing it quietly, away from the cameras, to rooms full of ultra-wealthy clients.

Why? Because excluding cash and investments, this company is trading at less than 7 times earnings.

And that’s for a business tied to:

  • The AI infrastructure supercycle
  • The onshoring boom driven by Trump-era tariffs
  • A surge in U.S. LNG exports
  • And a unique footprint in nuclear energy—the future of clean, reliable power

You simply won’t find another AI and energy stock this cheap… with this much upside.

This isn’t a hype stock. It’s not riding on hope.

It’s delivering real cash flows, owns critical infrastructure, and holds stakes in other major growth stories.

This is your chance to get in before the rockets take off!

Disruption is the New Name of the Game: Let’s face it, complacency breeds stagnation.

AI is the ultimate disruptor, and it’s shaking the foundations of traditional industries.

The companies that embrace AI will thrive, while the dinosaurs clinging to outdated methods will be left in the dust.

As an investor, you want to be on the side of the winners, and AI is the winning ticket.

From computer scientists to mathematicians, the next generation of innovators is pouring its energy into this field.
