Papua New Guinea has a Gini coefficient of 50.9 which is why the country is ranked 14th on our list of 25 most unequal countries with the worst income equality in the world. The country was not listed with the poorest countries in the world. Nevertheless, its poverty rate is something that needs immediate attention, 39.9 %.
