Fifth on our list of the most polluted cities in the US in 2017 is Los Angeles! Besides being 1st for the high ozone days, it is ranked 9th for 24-hour particle pollution out of 186 metropolitan areas and 5th for annual particle pollution out of 184 metropolitan areas. A number of people suffering from lung cancer is 8,096.
