Despite the formal greeting and last name basis in Czech, you should not mistaken the locals as a snob. It’s their custom tradition, a part of their culture, and one of the ingredients that makes them Czech locals. That’s deep! But once you get to know these awesome people, they are for keeps. People are reserved yet can be indirect in a conversation.
