Aside from the awe-inspiring sight of Machu Picchu, another highlight of this country that you’ll keep on searching for is the warm and bright smiles from locals you pass by. Socializing in Peru has never been an issue even though they have a conservative culture. Get used to being greeted by the lady at the convenient store, your local guide, the waiter from a canteen or restaurant, drivers, and basically, the whole population of Peru.
