At the end of this forecast period, the global online dating market is expected to sit at an estimated $17.2 billion. The age group 18 to 25 years makes up 36% of the market. However, what’s interesting is that the fastest-growing segment of this market is users aged between 25 and 35 years. Apart from Match Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:MTCH), Bumble, Inc. (NASDAQ:BMBL), and Grindr, Inc. (NYSE:GRND) are the major players in the market.
Naturally, it is easier for heterosexual men to find a date in a place where there is a high proportion of single women. Methodology
To curate our list of the 25 European cities with the most single women, we used women to men ratio of European cities. We reason that the higher this ratio, the higher the number of women in the city. All the cities we selected had a women-to-men percentage of greater than 100%, which means that all the cities have more women compared to men. The higher this percentage, the higher the city ranks on our list. We used the total population of the cities as a tiebreaker. So, if cities A and B have the same percentage but city B has a higher population, it ranks higher on our list. For the data regarding the female-to-male ratio, we used Kudacity. It is a platform to compare and contrast different cities.
25 – Venice, Italy

Venice has more than 11 women for every 10 men, landing it in the 25th spot on our list of the 25 European cities with the most single women. Italians, in general, are passionate, and this applies to Venetian women as well.
24 – Athens, Greece

Athens, Greece ranks 24th on our list of the European cities with the most single women. This city is also famous for its historic significance as it was the heart of ancient Greek civilization.
