Of course, like any other discipline, if you want to have a successful career based on a liberal arts education you must love the topic first. Thankfully, when it comes to subject selection, liberal arts offers a lot of options, like literature, history, philosophy and many more. As you can see from the title, today we are going to talk about the easiest liberal arts colleges to get into. Essentially, if you stick to these colleges, then you will be able to get in one without much effort. However, the quality of education may suffer a bit. As things are, the hardest colleges tend to attract the most promising students and also faculty, so you should definitely try for high ranking institutions. But, the colleges that made it onto our list are highly regarded nationwide as well. Essentially, this is the list of good colleges with high acceptance rates.

To find out the easiest colleges to get into or graduate from, we resorted to the internet. Thankfully, there are several reputable websites that offer information on U.S. colleges. For our research, we used websites like US News, College Simply and Start Class. Since we are looking for easiest colleges to get into, we focused primarily on the rate of acceptance. The assumption being, the higher the rate of acceptance, the better chance you will have of getting enrolled there. Therefore, we also ranked the colleges based on this rate of acceptance as well. So basically, we will start off our list with the college with the lowest rate of acceptance comparatively speaking, and then move on from there. Of course, all the colleges that made it onto our list are liberal arts colleges.

25. McDaniel College

Acceptance rate: 79.8%

We are starting off our list with McDaniel College. A well-reputed private college in Westminster, Maryland. With an acceptance rate of 79.8%, McDaniel College is a deserving candidate on our list.

24. Randolph College

Acceptance rate: 80.5%

Address: 2500 Rivermont Ave, Lynchburg, VA 24503, USA

Next up is Randolph College, a private liberal arts and science college located in Lynchburg, Virginia. The college was established in 1891 as a woman-only educational institution but it became coeducational in 2007 and has seen a lot of success over the years.

Acceptance rate: 80.8%

Yet another private college to make it into the list, St. John’s College is well known for its distinctive curriculum. We are going to quote the college’s website here that states: “At St. John’s, great books—and great discussions—are the heart of the college’s distinctive liberal arts program.” So if this is something you are interested in, by all means, go for it.

Acceptance rate: 82.4%

Hendrix College has a full percent higher rate of acceptance than our previous entry. A great college for undergraduate programs, but they also offer post-graduate programs as well. However, the tuition fees can be a bit on the expensive side, at around $40,000.
