The prevalence of social media and a better understanding of skin issues have led to a rise in the consumption of male grooming products. In addition, the fact that male beauty standards have changed over time has also helped the industry to grow.
In the older societies, handsome men were considered feminine. In some societies, they were even seen as unfit for public employment. However, things have changed dramatically today. Today, men’s beauty pageants are quite common and popular. Manhunt International is one of the oldest male beauty pageants. It was first held in 1993 and is going strong to this day. The rise of metrosexual males, therefore, has also given rise to the men’s personal grooming products industry. However, it is important to note that this does not mean that males with a good physique are not considered handsome. A good physique is seen as a baseline on which men need to build their personality. Chiseled abs and large biceps are needed because they will make a man look good in what he wears.
A good physique and masculine features are simply not the only things that today’s women look for in their men. Research from Penn State University shows that men with symmetrical faces are considered more handsome than others. However, grooming and style play a critical role in attraction. Men who take good care of themselves and are well-groomed appear more confident, a trait that women like.

Methodology
Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder so it is difficult to objectively point out 25 countries with the most handsome men in the world. Since this is a subjective topic, we chose a consensus approach. We researched on the internet and shortlisted six (1,2,3,4,5,6) sources. Then, we looked at the countries these sources recommended and listed them down. We calculated the insider monkey score by summing the number of times the country appeared in all of our sources. The higher the score, the better the country ranks in the list of most handsome men in the world. However, as tiebreakers, we used the ranking of these countries in our sources.
