Children Cyberbullied: 37% 

India stands first among the countries with the most cyberbullying in the world. In Delhi, 8% of middle graders admit to cyberbullying, while 17% are victims. Common types include spreading rumors and name-calling. Nationally, 63% experience online harassment, and 59% are targets of damaging gossip. Post-pandemic, India sees a 36% increase in cyberstalking and cyberbullying cases. Girls aged 10 to 16 are particularly vulnerable, facing rates of sexual harassment and threats of harm ranging between 32-34%.
