Alaska holds the record for the highest paying state for kindergarten teachers. If you ever wonder why it did not land the top spot, or at least among the top 5, it’s simply because of their very expensive cost of living. Earning so much makes no sense if you have to spend a huge chunk of it in your living expenses. Apart from that, the demand is not high enough. Even so, we cannot deny the fact that the wages look lovely.
