Idaho’s employment rates for chemists sure do not impress us much, but the balance they strike between wages and expenses caught our attention. It is quite rare for American states to have good wages and equally good living expenses. Most affordable states would have lower paychecks, like Indiana. In this case, if you’re lucky enough to work as a chemist in Idaho, you’ll be able to enjoy your hard-earned money better than if you’re living in more expensive states.
