Every tourist experiencing their first time in NYC is rushing to see the most touristy things like the Empire State Building, but the New Yorkers who are living here are constantly searching for places they can go and escape from the noise. If you find yourself in this kind of situation, you can always visit a good jazz club like the Birdland, Blue Note or Smalls Jazz Club among others that is definitely one of the best non touristy things to do in NYC.
