10. Island Hop
New York City has many little islands in its territory, and even some of the boroughs count as islands. In the Bronx, you can visit City Island that was first settled back in 1685 as part of the Pelham Islands. However, for those who want to visit an easily-reached place, take the F subway train to Roosevelt Island, and you can enjoy the beauty of the gorgeous skyline the Queensboro Bridge offers from the middle of the East River.
