25 Best Cities to Visit in Europe

4. Rome, Italy

There isn’t much of an itinerary needed for Rome with an endless number of places to go. The city had 29.07 million bednights last year. The Pantheon would be a good place to start, progressing to the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and the Colosseum in that order, to take in the ancient monuments that surround the city. For a more modern experience, stop by some of the Roman cafes as part of your sight-seeing. La Casa Del Caffè Tazza D’oro near the Pantheon and Antico Caffè Greco near Spanish steps are Rome’s most highly rated cafes.
