17. Film Composer
In my opinion, having a unique soundtrack is absolutely integral to any film that desires to offer a good viewing experience. Certain scores become defining elements of the cinematic tradition, Bernard Hermann’s composition for Psycho being one classic example. From Randy Newman’s iconic work for the Toy Story franchise to Hans Zimmer’s moving works for Interstellar and Inception amidst others, countless examples of enduring art abound in the film composer profession.
