Emergency medicine is also one of the most paid specialties because it treats people who need help immediately. People who are working in the emergency medicine department are called emergency physicians and they are dealing with people who are in life-threatening conditions. Their primary job is, when a patient is brought into the emergency room to stabilize their condition and then refer them to another department, which can help them recover. Emergency physicians are often working together with people from another department in order to give the patient the needed help in the right moment. This specialty is extremely hard and people who are working here need to be ready at any moment.
