There is invasive and non-invasive cardiology and because of the two branches, we decided to calculate the average annual wage from both and insert it on our list. The invasive cardiologists are experienced in routine heart catheterization, electrophysiology studies, emergent angioplasty, permanent pacemakers among other procedures while non-invasive cardiologists are preventing cardiovascular diseases. They are helping to make a difference in people’s lives by leading them to do tests, diagnosis, needed treatment in order to recover.
