Ranked 9th, Mexico uses child labor for the production of 15 goods, including onions, cucumbers, tobacco, beans (green beans), poppies, melons, Chile Peppers, sugarcane, eggplants, pornography, tomatoes, coffee, cattle, garments, and leather goods/accessories. For two of these (Chile Peppers and tomatoes), forced labor is also used. To combat this widespread use of the worst form of child labor and forced labor, Mexico made moderate advancements in 2022.
