Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia, has a population of 9,588,198 on a land area of 7,642 km2  (2,951 mi2). Its first building above 150 m, the Wisma 46 was constructed in 1996. Its architectural height is 261.9 m (859 ft) with 46 floors above ground, and 2 floors under ground.
