“Torn” also found its place on our list of 20 best English karaoke songs with lyrics. It was originally written by Scott Cutle, Anne Preven, Phil Thornalley and it was produced by Phil Thornalley himself. The Danish singer Lis Sorensen recorded the first version of the song, but four years later, in 1997, Natalie Imbruglia recorded her version. Shortly after Natalie Imbruglia released her version of the song, it reached the number one spot in many countries including Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Spain, and Canada. After Natalie’s version, many artists have covered the song as well.
