Let’s face it, even your grandma has heard of bitcoin, and your old neighbors are discussing investing into it (even though they know it’s only a pipe dream). These are two undeniable facts confirming the upcoming breakthrough in payments. The list is long and versatile, and we narrowed it once more on another criterion. If a company had some limitations considering the usage of cryptocurrencies for their services, we ruled them out. If the name Yamada Denki doesn’t ring a bell, let us inform you this is one of the largest consumer electronics retail chains in Japan. It has just accepted payments in BTC in two of its stores in Tokyo. True, it’s a bit limited, but it’s a start. Once it proves valid and profitable, Yamada Denki will spread the Bitcoin payment option on other stores, too.

2. KFC Canada

You’re probably having the munchies by now. There were pizza, sandwiches, and now a KFC Canada bucket. The Bitcoin Bucket contains 10 original recipe tenders, waffle fries, a medium side, medium gravy, and two dips. Its price is around 20 Canadian dollars (about $15).
