13. Tranquilandia

The Tranquilandia operation took place in 1984, and was led by the DEA, eventually resulting in the confiscation of over 10 tons of cocaine which was worth over an incredible $1.2 billion at the time. Tranquilandia was actually a cocaine processing laboratory in Colombia, and was taken out by the Colombian Police and the DEA. It was more a complex rather than a laboratory as it had 17 labs, dormitories for workers, its own water and even an electrical system.
