At number 16, we have the very capital of the United States. About a quarter of the entire city’s population is black, and as you can see, 29.1% of the entire black population resides in black neighborhoods. The poverty rate for the black population of the city is 13.2% where in contrast, the poverty rate for the white population is around 4.6%.
