Do you have plain throw pillows? Lay it on a table (without the pillow), get a ruler and Sharpie, and make a checkered design. Now you have a chic printed pillow on your couch! Interior designer Michael Garvey has done this in his own home. You can also doodle on it if you want. A simple checkered layout will take you probably 20 minutes. Always keep a sharpie handy for projects like these!
