Drug overdoses are leading cause of death of Americans under the age of 50. Drugs are taking its toll and in 2016, 59,000 to 65,000 people died from an overdose. In translation, drugs kill more people than car accidents or shootings. Since 2010, West Virginia tops the list of states with the highest number of drug-related deaths.
