Despite the fact that Thailand has very strict laws when it comes to possession and/or distribution of drugs, drug problems are still very serious in this country. Newest reports show that southern villages in Thailand are devastated by drug abuse. Drugs are destroying families as well and in 2016, 80% of 525 filings for divorce were filed because of drug use.
