14. You Are Getting Something Delivered
Are you expecting a delivery? You could say to your boss that you are having some furniture delivered tomorrow so your presence is required. However, you should only use this excuse once. Don’t try it again in a couple of months! Just look for another one on our list of best excuses to get out of work.
