Japan ranks 8th in our list of most technologically advanced countries in the world in 2017. It has always been at the forefront of the technological advancement. Technology is one of the fastest growing sectors of the economy and the government expenditure on technological innovation and science is significant. Hitachi, Panasonic, and Sony are some of the most famous technological companies with headquarters in Japan.
