15. Wild Snowdonia
Location: Wales, United Kingdom
A470 road is usually divided into two routes, North and South. If you can take just one, we would recommend the North rote, passing through Snowdonia national park. Dotted with small towns and villages with unpronounceable names, like Llanidloes, Machynlleth, Dolgellau, Betws y Coed, and Blaenau Ffestiniog, this scenic drive really captures the wild beauty of Wales and its mountains. There are plenty of tourist attractions along the way to keep you occupied, as the old bridge in Llanrwst and famous Conway Castle is also nearby.
