According to a report released by the University of Illinois at Chicago, Miami ranks as the fourth most corrupt city in the US with 1,288 convictions. The study, conducted by the school’s Department of Police Science, analyzed federal corruption convictions reported by the U.S. Department of Justice from 1976 to 2021 to determine the rankings.
