12. Kenya
On the 12th place of cosmopolitan most culturally and ethnically diverse countries in the world in 2017 is Kenya because of the large number of different ethnic groups – Kikuyu 22%, Luhya 14%, Luo 13%, Kalenjin 12%, Kamba 11%, Kisii 6%, Meru 6%, other African ethnic groups 15% and non-African ethnic groups (Asian, European, and Arab) 1%. In Kenya, 72 languages are spoken.
