4. Uganda
Fourth on our list of cosmopolitan most culturally and ethnically diverse countries in the world in 2017 is Uganda. Its population consists of different ethnic groups and some of the are Baganda 16.9%, Banyankole 9.5%, Basoga 8.4%, Bakiga 6.9%, Iteso 6.4%, Langi 6.1%, Acholi 4.7%, Bagisu 4.6%, Lugbara 4.2%, Bunyoro 2.7%, etc. In the north are people who speak Nilotic languages, while the other spoken language is Lumasaba. There is also some small percent of Pygmies who live isolated in the rainforests of the western part of the country. However, the total number of different languages is 45.
