The Newport Folk Festival is an American annual festival in Rhode Island. It began in July 1959, and it features performances by folk, country and folk rock musicians. Despite its annual world-class festival, Newport, Rhode Island has a rich culture, history, art restaurants and beautiful beaches. It’s very white, though.
