Nearly half of Missouri’s undocumented population is made up of Mexicans, while Guatemala, China, and India also show a strong presence. Compared to other states, the figure of 84% enrolled in schools may be a cause for concern, though it is also important to note that 20% of the illegal population has managed to attain at least a bachelor’s degree, professional degree or a graduate.
