9. Puebla
We are continuing our list of safest places to visit in Mexico that are beautiful and cheap with Puebla which is a beautiful little place with about 1,5 million residents and many stunning cathedrals. This place often referred to as “mini” Mexico City is actually only two hours away by bus from the capital city. While you’re there, you can visit the museum devoted to ancient artifacts. Puebla is also a quite inexpensive destination. The lowest price we found is $45 per one night.
