2. Barry White
Born on September 12, 1944, in Galveston, Texas, Barry White died on July 4, 2003, in Los Angeles, California at the age of 58. Barry won three Grammy Awards for his distinctive bass-baritone voice. He was a record producer, songwriter, arranger and a musician, and he played drums, keyboard, harpsichord, and piano. Barry was obese most of his adult life which was the main source of many health problems. He had a high blood pressure and in 2002, he had a kidney failure. While he was waiting for kidney transplantation, he also suffered a severe stroke. One month later, he died and his ashes were scattered by his family off the California coast.
