Suicide rate per 100,000 residents: 3.1
At number 14 on our list of least suicidal countries in the world, we have another country from the continent of Africa. Algeria is a North African country with a fairly well-rounded economy. However, the country has a lot of catching up to do with the west, to say the least. But still, the country has a very low suicide rate of 3.1 which is rather remarkable since many developed countries of the world have much higher suicide rates.
