5. United Arab Emirates (UAE)
We are continuing our list of least gay-friendly countries in the world with The United Arab Emirates that include Emirates of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras-Khaimah, Ajman, Fujairah, Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain. In UAE, even sexual acts outside of heterosexual marriage are banned. Gay or not, watch how you behave if you ever visit Abu Dhabi, Dubai or some other UAE areas. UAE Penal Code is somewhat ambiguous as to whether homosexuality is punishable by death or not. If you read the Article 354, it can be understood that death penalty is the punishment only in case of rape.
