Many of us see the US prisons on TV and brutality which we often see in our favorite crime movies, or TV shows is more than real. One of the well-known maximum security prisons in the US is ADX, also known as Alcatraz of the Rockies. This prison is located in Colorado, and it is home to some of the worst criminals in the country, who show “no concern for human life.” It is an escape-proof prison where inmates spend 23 hours a day in solitary confinement. Robert Hood, the warden of this prison from 2002 to 2005, said that this place is not designed for humanity or rehabilitation. This is only one example of notorious US prisons.
