Just as it was the case with the majority of other cities on this list, Zurich invested a lot into developing a very efficient public transport. In 2015, Vienna, Copenhagen, and Zurich were European cities with best clean air with Zurich ranked as number one. It is another example how a largely populated city can have low pollution levels if the government insists on working on eco-friendly solutions.
