8. Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
It’s hard to pass by the Caribbean if you are looking to travel to a warm place with beautiful beaches instead of seeking for cultural destinations. You can relax completely at some of the gorgeous islands which can be pretty affordable like the Dominican Republic or Jamaica. There are, of course, islands that are still very expensive, but you can find plenty of cheap deals as well, especially in Punta Cana. The beaches are beautiful, and the weather is great in March. While you’re there, why not visit some of the local festivals such as the Trelawny Yam Festival in Jamaica where you can feast on yam dishes while listening to Jamaican music or Bermuda International Film Festival going on for nine days in March? The lowest price per night we found in Punta Cana is $68.
