Some decide to pursue the career of a physical therapist because they have experienced their patient’s aches and agonizing conditions if they have been involved in car accidents or similar circumstances. Some are simply Samaritans and altruists, while there are those who, in simple terms – love the job. Either way, PTs are very important when it comes to treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery of patients who suffered trauma and injuries, as well as those who are ill or with the chronic conditions. Through a wide range of approaches, they help their patients with managing their pain. Whether their working place is a football field, nursing home, or a hospital, PTs are highly requested and valued which is BLS’s data confirmed considering projected employment growth of 34 percent from 2014 to 2024, for this occupation.
