It’s a tricky thing to get all family to speak the same language, especially when there are some unresolved issues between them. Problems regarding marital discord, violent behavior among family, medical distress, intimate relating and consequences of family member’s suicide can be overcome with the help of this professional. What is important for the therapists is not to get too attached to their clients, and to preserve integrity and professionalism, since sometimes sympathy and compassion can escalate to something bigger.
