6. Lice
This one will probably not work on your parents but will definitely work on your teacher. Pretend that you contracted lice over the weekend, get an extra day off on Monday and by the time you return on Tuesday, you can pretend that the treatment worked and the lice is gone. Your teachers will definitely not waste time giving you a holiday when they think that doing so will help avoid an epidemic.
