He runs and manages an Abu Dhabi based healthcare and pharmaceutical companies called NMC Healthcare and UAE Exchange. He moved to the United Arab Emirates during the seventies after getting the pharmaceutical education in India. His companies are also well-known on the Indian subcontinent and in many other Asian countries. Last year B.R. Shetty’s net worth was $2.5 billion and he takes the 47th place on the Forbes’s India’s 100 Richest People list.
