Thailand has two Miss Universe winners, Apasra Hongsakula in 1965 and Porntip Nakhirunkanok in 1988 and three Miss Asia Pacific International titles, won by Siriporn Savanglum in 1978, Preeyanuch Panpradub in 1988, and by Worarat Suwannarat in 1997.
