The company is a part of the IBEX 35 capitalization-weighted stock market index, and its headquarter is in Madrid. Rafael del Pino y Moreno founded the company in 1952. At first, it was a railroad construction company, and afterward, it developed more. As an interesting fact, Ferrovial in Spanish means”railroad”.
